something than we are. Case in point, an amateur roboticist has been
hard at work in recent years building robots and uploading videos of
them performing gymnastic routines. The user, who goes by hinamitetu,
has just posted his newest creation, and it's the most impressive
yet.This is the 17th iteration of the highbar swinging robot. It's not
the most elegant-looking machine, but it's considerably more svelte than
its predecessors. This version of the robot includes a light sensor in
the "face" region that syncs up with a row of LEDs below the bar. This
allows the robot to time its release much more accurately — down to
0.002 seconds, according to the video.
